Went in for an inspection, thought that the vehicle overheated on my drive there. They did not hesitate to check everything over even though it was not a scheduled service. Turns out the gauge was broken, but they made sure I was safe to drive home.

This is my second experience with the new company, I bought by 2024 GMC Denai last year from the prior company. I have to say, neither experience has been great. My first one was an oil change the next day after the change, I understand they were having issues with the changes, but my scheduled oil change took several hours. I gave the, grace on that one, knowing they were still trying to figure it all out. Last week I had a tire damaged and ordered a new one, they made my appointment the next day, I called before i took it out for repairs to confirm the tire was in, it was. I dropped it off for what they told be would be a half hour and they would call. 2 hours later i went back to check, still hadn't been in yet. I took four hours and I had to check back because I didn't receive a call.

We are traveling from South Carolina to Colorado in a GMC 1 ton pickup pulling a 35’ camper. We started having regeneration issues and the truck went into reduced power mode causing us to lose speed going up hills, down to 50mph. Not good on I -70. We called the dealer and said we would limp our way into their shop at 4:00 pm on Friday. They said to come in and they would look at it. They put 3 technicians on it immediately. They were able to get it regenerated and the codes were cleared. We were extremely pleased that they stayed late on a Friday night to get the job done. We successfully drove to our campground that evening, 75 miles away. However the next day, about 25 miles into our trip, the same regen error code displayed and we were back in reduced power mode. We had a campground reservation in Abilene and made it there. The next day the Chevy dealership there was able to work us in and fix the issue. We are still grateful for the service provided here, however we paid an extensive amount for labor, to not have a completely fixed problem. We were not told ahead of time that the labor rate was going to be tripled because 3 technicians were assigned to work on it. We were there for 1.25 hours and the labor bill was over $500. We feel we were taken advantage of because of being a Friday night and we were traveling.

I appreciate that your technicians were able to fix my car, but overall I wasn’t very happy with the experience at the service department. My car was towed in on a Friday afternoon close to closing time, and I was told diagnostics would start Monday. When I called Monday for an update, I was told they were behind and hadn’t gotten to it yet. I called again Tuesday around noon and was told by the person who seemed to be in charge that he didn’t know whether the diagnostics had started because the technicians hadn’t updated him. That really surprised me — it didn’t give me much confidence that things were being managed or communicated clearly. Later that day, I stopped by to grab some things from my car. When I got there, I passed someone smoking right outside the overhead door to the service area and assumed he was a customer. I also saw a technician smoking while working on a vehicle inside. After waiting a few minutes, the man who had been outside came in — and it turned out he was the service manager. He was polite when we spoke, but the whole scene didn’t feel very professional, especially for a service department that represents a dealership. By the end of the day, I did finally get an update and an estimate, and I appreciated that communication once it happened. On Thursday, I was told the car was ready for pickup, but the service department informed me that the driver-side window motor had stopped working. This surprised me since the window had been rolled down earlier in the week without any issue. I understand it could just be bad timing, but given everything else, it didn’t inspire much confidence. I’m glad the repairs were completed, but the lack of professionalism and clear communication really stood out. If you want customers to come back and recommend your service, I’d strongly suggest improving professionalism and keeping people more informed — that’s what builds trust and makes people want to return.
